How we verify platforms

Before we recommend any platform, we evaluate it across five areas:

1. Legitimacy and traceability. An identifiable company behind the platform, years in the market, and verifiable legal registration.
2. Reputation in reviews and forums. Trustpilot rating and review volume, app store rating if it has an app, and recurring complaint patterns in forums and communities.
3. Terms of use and privacy. A clear, accessible privacy policy, what data the platform asks for, who it shares it with, what ID it requires, and whether that's proportional to what you'll be paid.
4. Registration experience. Steps needed to activate your account, survey availability, payment methods available in your country, and time to your first payout.
5. Payment terms. We compare the minimum payout threshold, how often surveys are available, and terms against other platforms of the same type — without promising how much you'll earn, that depends on you and each study.

We review every listed platform once a month, or sooner if we spot a relevant change in their terms.
